Practice Closure Notice

It is with a heavy heart that I share that, due to the unexpected loss of my beloved son, I will be closing Therapeia Counseling Center through the remainder of this year to grieve with my family.

To my clients, thank you for allowing me the privilege of walking alongside you in your healing journeys. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Current clients have received information regarding continuity of care through email and the client portal.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming kindness, prayers, compassion, and support that have been shown to my family during this unimaginable time. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for respecting our privacy as we grieve.

I look forward to the day I am able to return and continue serving this community.

Practice Policies

I want you to feel clear and comfortable about how I work. Here are a few important things to know:

• Confidentiality – Your privacy matters. Sessions are confidential, with the exceptions required by law (safety concerns, abuse reporting, or court order).

• Communication – I use a secure client portal (SimplePractice) for scheduling and messaging. Text may be used for scheduling only, and is not HIPAA-secure for personal health details. Email is HIPAA-secure and always welcome.

• Emergencies – I do not provide crisis or after-hours services. If you are in crisis, call 911 or the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 (call/text/chat).

• Cancellations – Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation fee.

• Social Media – To protect your confidentiality, I do not accept friend/follow requests from clients on social media.

In-person in Ingram; telehealth anywhere in Texas.
